Having undertaken 650m2 of granite paving works at 10 Wellington Place for Shepherd Construction in September 2015, we were invited to tender for phase two of the Leeds city centre development.  Once completed, the ambitious business park will offer flexible office accommodation, served with exceptional transport links and complemented by outstanding amenities and stunning outdoor gardens.

Having been successful in our tender, we commenced work October 2015, with our groundworks division undertaking preparatory works, including:

  • Reduce level dig and removal off site 915mof material
  • Breaking out removal off site of 720m3 concrete
  • Import and compaction of 7,600m2 of sub base materials
  • Formation of 20 tree pits
  • Retaining wall construction
  • Installation of 570m of service ducting
  • 330m of drainage
  • Construction of 10 lighting column bases

Once the initial groundworks were completed, our paving division then commenced their works, including:

  • 1,600m2 of granite paving
  • 460m of granite steps
  • 400m of granite kerbs
  • 12 surface mounted granite benches
  • 88 cycle hoops
  • 6 static bollards
  • 6 telescopic bollards
